GPL MATCH REPORT : KUMASI ASANTE KOTOKO SECURED FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON
Kumasi Asante Kotoko took on Legon Cities in match day 5 of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier at the Accra Stadium. The Porcupine Worriors were in search of their first victory in the new season.
The match started well for both sides with a very high tempo. Both clubs tried so hard to keep possession.
On the 10th minute, Maxwell Konadu’s side, Kumasi Asante Kotoko broke the deadlock when
Osman Ibrahim put the ball beyond the reach of Legon Cities goalkeeper, Fataw Dauda to give Kumasi Asante Kotoko the early lead.
Legon Cities started pushing so hard for an equalizer but the compact nature of Kotoko midfield made it impossible for the Accra based side, Legon Cities.
