The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is poised to appoint Otto Addo as the successor to Chris Hughton, with an official announcement slated for March 15, 2024. Following successful negotiations, Addo has been awarded a long-term contract with assurances of job security. His tenure with Borussia Dortmund has been resolved to facilitate his return to Ghana.

Addo, a former Ghana international, previously guided the Black Stars to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar during his one-year tenure as coach. With a record of 4 wins, 4 draws, and 4 losses over 12 matches, he has demonstrated his potential to steer the team towards further achievements.
