Former Zabzugu Yelzoli FC player Salifu Abdul Razak after his exploits at the U-17 National Champions League tournament held in Accra, shall receive a call up to the U-17 National Team per the GFA’s new directive.
The young talented attacker rocked 10 goals to finish as top scorer of the competition for his side MAL FC as they ended the tournament as champions after beating Desidero Academy 2-0 in the finals on Tuesday 21st December, 2021.
Abdul -Razak’s impressive performance also won the tournaments Most Valuable Player [MVP] Award in addition to winning the Top Scorer Gong.
Pursuant to the rules set by the Ghana Football Association before the competition begun, both the tournaments Top Scorer and Best Player shall received a call up to the U-17 National Team.
The young talented goal poacher when called will be the first player from Zabzugu to reached that feat.
With his headlining goals throughout the competition, the young chap is poised for greatness in the years ahead.
He begun his career with Yelzoli FC in Zabzugu, for his great work and eye catching display, he was attracted to Accra based MAL FC, and since his move to the Capital club, it has been history and his formal club will be pleased with his achievement so far.
It was a greater Accra Derby in the finals, MAL FC through the help of Abdul-Razak beat Desidero Academy by 2-0 to win the coveted title. He scored one of the two goals in the finals.
Our sources revealed so many clubs are currently chasing after his signature including GFA President’s owned club Dreams FC.
