WPL Super Cup: Police Ladies ‘arrest’ Northern Ladies with a 4-1 victory

Police Ladies FC walked pass Northern Ladies by 4-1 in the ongoing Women’s Premier League Super Cup currently underway at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.

 

Williams Victoria Teye opened the scoring for Police Ladies on the 16th minutes which was cancelled by Obianuju Rose Mary’s superb goal 9 minutes later.

Berko Mary made it 2-1 for Police Ladies before the first half.

 

Northern Ladies FC Coach, Sumani Bashirudeen made some tactical changes in the second half but was met with a free kick close to the 18 yard box. Grace Animah calmly kicked the ball straight into the net to make it 3 for Police Ladies.

Defensive mixup gifted Police Ladies the 4th goal through Deborah Afriyei on the 85th minute. The match ended 4-1 in favor of Police Ladies.

 

Ampem Darkoa take on Dreamz Ladies on Wednesday at 9:00am while Lady Strikers take on Faith Ladies later in the day.
