WPL: Northern Ladies striker Anatu Sadat is the first Muslim Player to play in the Women’s Premier League whiles in Hijab

Anatu Sadat is a striker for Northern Ladies FC, she’s a product of Nimoobi Ladies and Right to Dream football Academy. During their game against Ampem Darkoa Ladies in Techiman, she was spotted wearing a Nike branded veil or “Yaatuiba” .

It was one of the sports kits being distributed by Maxwell Woladzi project which aims at Providing sports kits to Muslim women in the country who are willing to honour their faith without any fear. And Anatu happens to be the first beneficiary of this project in the WPL.

Maxwell Woladzi is a former team mate of Anatu Sadat at Right to dream, he was a defender for the team before making a move to FC Nordsjaelland.

He has been Providing this packages to Girls in Nima, the packages includes sports bra, boots and long stretch coverings of the legs.
