WPL : Northern Ladies Fc would still do well in my absence – Abdulai Mukarama
The skimmer of Northern Ladies Fc, Abdulai Mukarama believes her club, Northern Ladies Fc will still be doing well in the league even in her absence. The skipper of the Black Princesses of Ghana indicates that Northern Ladies Fc was doing well last season even when she was absent from the team.
She insisted that the club will continue to do well this season. She disclosed that there are players that are doing very well for Northern Ladies Fc and would definitely take Northern Ladies to the promising land in her absence.
“Last year Northern Ladies Fc was doing well, scoring more goals in matches when I wasn’t there. The players that were scoring the goals are still in the team with good new players in addition. I strongly believe they will repeat last season”.
The star player scored hatrick in the opening match of the season against Ashtown Ladies Fc but bid emotional farewell to her team mates immediately after the match on Saturday.

Abdulai Mukarama won Golden Boot and Bronze Medal in the 2018 Women’s U17 World Cup hosted by Uruguay. She was captain of the Black Maidens and now the captain of Black the Princesses of Ghana.
Northern Ladies will play their first league match of the season without the star player, Abdulai Mukarama on Friday, 22nd January, 2021.
