WPL: Northern Ladies FC Faces Another Setback as CEO Resigns

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Women’s Premier League side, Northern Ladies FC, Dr Iddrisu Yahaya has tendered inn his resignation letter to Chairman of the club.

 

His resignation came four days after the Media Officer, Mumuni Abdul Mumin surprisingly resigned from his role as a media officer of the club. Again several players including some technical team members have been rumoured to be moving out of the club.

Checks by sportsmrnews.com reporters suggest that there are serious mistrust, communication gaps and power play in the team which are forcing some prominent persons in the club to step aside from their portfolios.

A letter sighted by sportsmrnews.com signed by Dr Iddrisu Yahaya indicates that he had a good working relationship with the management, Technical team and supporters and has expressed gratitude to them for the support.

 

He stated that, his resignation is as a result of his busy schedules.

 

Dr. Iddrisu Yahaya has served as the CEO of Northern Ladies FC since 2019 and has brought in Puzuri Group of Company as major sponsors of the club for the past two season. His presence has influenced so many players to join the team. His love for the game is always unquestionably.

Dr Iddi as affectionately called wishes Northern Ladies Fc the best of luck.
