She is the captain of Northern Ladies, and as charismatic as she is, you will expect the team to miss her, especially, how she normally motivate and encourage her colleagues to keep on pushing hard whenever things are not going well for their side during play.

Doris is a good leader for Northern Ladies and the team really felt her absence from the four matches they have played so far without her.

She started individual training last week but joined the team’s group training last Monday. She has since been training with the team and could return to action as soon as possible.

The Black Princesses midfielder is well known for her accuracy in ball distribution and her good leadership in the field. She does not only play beautiful football in the midfield but also motivates her team mates to up their game whenever they are in a tough situation. She always manage to awaken the spirit’s of her team mates to make sure that things go well for Northern Ladies.

The captain is expected to still miss Northern Ladies Tuesday’s trip to Techiman for the last match of the first round against Ampem Darkoa Ladies as the match comes too early for her to be fully fit to play.

However, Coach Basiru-Deen Sumani will be anxiously waiting for the return of his Midfielder and leader in their next home fixture.

Northern Ladies is currently fourth on the league log with 9 pts, 7pts behind league leaders, Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
