Women’s Unity Cup-2022, Walewale: Abdulai Salamatu Scores her First Hatrick of the Competition.
Bagabaga Ladies Fc attacker, Abdulai Salamatu, publicly called ‘Nte’ scored her first hatrick of the 2022 Edition of the Women’s Unity Cup taking place in Walewale. The pacy and skillful striker scored three goals in the nine-goal thriller between Bagabaga Ladies Fc and Timtooni Ladies Fc. The match ended 7-2 in favor of her side, Bagabaga Ladies Fc.
Abdulai Salamatu Nte now has five(5) goals in the first two matches ie hatrick against Timtooni Ladies Fc and a brace against Savelugu based Yoo Ladies Fc. She also won the MVP accolades of the two matches in question. The young striker has been top scorer of previous editions of the Women’s Unity Cup.
Salamatu Nte has already represented Ghana at U-17 (Black Maidens) and U-20 (Black Princesses) and could play for the Senior Women’s National Team, the Black Queens. She was part of Ben Forko’s squad that represented Ghana in the 2022 FIFA Women’s U-20 WC in Costa Rica. Nte had a stint with Northern Ladies Fc in the Ghana Women’s Premier League, 2021/2022 Season before returning to her girlhood club, Bagabaga Ladies Fc.
