Women’s Premiere League: Dreamz Ladies FC Overwhelm Tamale Super Ladies in Season Opener

In a surprising start to the season, Tamale Super Ladies faced a 3-0 defeat at home against Dreamz Ladies FC during the opening match of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League. The encounter took place at the Kulikuli School Astro Turf in Tamale, where the home team hoped to avenge last season’s loss. However, Dreamz Ladies, the reigning Super Cup champions, proved too formidable.

Dreamz Ladies FC displayed dominance throughout the match, with Sarah Nyarko leading the charge by scoring two goals, and Sarah Adu adding a third, leaving the home side struggling to respond. Despite creating a few decent chances in the second half, Tamale Super Ladies couldn’t convert, resulting in a disheartening defeat on their own turf.

Looking ahead, Tamale Super Ladies will aim to bounce back in their next match against Fosu Royal in Techiman next weekend, seeking to regain their form and secure their first points of the season.
