Women’s Football: Pearlpia Ladies Fc Acquires a Team Bus
Pearlpia Ladies Fc, one of the Tamale based Women’s Premier League clubs has acquired a 33- Seater Capacity Bus ahead of the 2020/2021 league season.
Information available to sportsmrnews.com suggests that the bus is purchased from the Covid-19 relief fund which was given to the clubs by the Ghana Football Association few months ago.
Speaking to Sportsmrnews.com, the Media Officer of the club, Mr Mutaka Mohammed confirmed the news and disclosed that the club is yet to brand the bus in their team colours in the coming days before the official unveiling is done.
This is the second time a female club in Northern Region is making such a wonderful move. You will recall that Northern Ladies Fc also unavailed a 30 Seater Nissan bus some number of weeks ago.
Pearlia ladies FC has produced a number of players for all the National women teams in Ghana and continue to do so. The notable players produced by Pearlpia Ladies Fc for the various national women’s teams are Abdul-Rahaman Safia, Sumaila Sherifa, Abdul-Rahaman Samira, Alhassan Rafia, Alhassan Basira, Mumuni Fuseina, Fuseini Zuleiha to mention but few.
The 2020/2021 Women’s Premier League is scheduled to start on 2nd January, 2021.
