WOMEN’S FOOTBALL : MEET JAFAR RAHAMA OF NORTHERN LADIES, SCORER OF 13 GOALS IN THREE CONSECUTIVE MATCHES.
Northern Ladies Fc has been in fine form since April 2021, winning four matches, drawing two and losing one in both competitions, ie Women’s Premier League and Women’s FA Cup . One player who contributes largely to this good performance by Northern Ladies Fc is Jafar Rahama, the scorer of 13 Goals in three Consecutive matches.
Only few people would believe that a player could score 13 goals in three matches in a row. But those who knew Northern Ladies goal poacher, Jafar Rahama would never doubt it.
The prolific winger has established herself as one of the best in goals scoring in the country. The sharp and skilful winger is likened to Portugal and Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo, CR7 because of her pace and ability to score goals from distance through powerful shots.
After Abdulai Mukarama left for United States of America, it was widely speculated that Jafar Rahama would carry Northern Ladies on her shoulders. The Northern Ladies fans Player for the Month of February has just started showing football fans that she is really up to the task.
The Black Princesses winger started scoring numerous goals in single matches in Northern Ladies 7-0 demolition of Fabulous Ladies Fc when she scored four goals in the match.
She continued her masterclass performance in the Northern Ladies 8-1 victory against Zidcom Ladies in the Women’s FA Cup at Paga, hitting five goals in the match to send her side to the round 16 stage of the Women’s FA Cup competition.
The Northern based Sky Blues were drawn against city counterparts, Fc Savannah Ladies in the round of 16. The match was honored on Friday, 21st May, 2021, seeing Jafar Rahama scoring four goals again in that match. The match ended 5-0 in favour of Coach Basiru-Deen Sumani’s side, Northern Ladies Fc. The four goals scored by the former player of Bagabaga Ladies Fc in that match meant that she has now scored nine goals in two consecutive matches in the Women’s FA Cup and 13 goals in her last three matches in a row in both competitions.
Northern Ladies are currently fourth on the league log of the 2021 Women’s Premier League whiles Jafar Rahama is third on the top scorers chat with 8 goals, and 17 goals this season in both competitions.
