WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: MADAM EVELYN NSIAH ASARE DONATES CUSTOMIZED FACE MASKS TO TAMALE BASED NORTHERN LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB.

The distinguished female football administrator who is the welfare officer of the Ghana National Women’s U-20 Team, the Black Princesses, Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare has donated customized Face Masks to Northern Ladies Football Club to help fight against the spread of the noble Coronavirus.

You will recall that the president of the republic of Ghana, H. E Nana Akufo Addo in his 19th state of the nation’s address stated that wearing of face masks remains mandatory in Ghana as the fight against Covid-19 continues. In line with that, the president of Afia Kobi Ampem Ladies Football Club thought it wise to support Northern Ladies Fc with the customized nose masks.

Mrs Nsiah Asare always look forward to seeing women football grow in the country. Recently, she called on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to restructure women’s football by introducing a Division One League for regional clubs.
According to the Physical Education Lecturer at the Sunyani Technical University, the FA in its capacity should recognise the elite women’s league as a premier league and ensure that women regional clubs are recognised as division one clubs. She spoke on Accra based Asempa Radio few months ago.

With about 16yrs experience in football administration, Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare Owusu was appointed into the nine-member Board of Directors of Kumasi Asante Kotoko. She is the only female football administrator in the Board of Directors of the club.
