Women’s Football : Dahinsheli Ladies Fc engage Tanga Queens from Bolga in a pre-season friendly Match.
Tamale based Women’s division one club, Dahinsheli Ladies Fc will engage fellow division one side from Bolga, Tanga Queens in a pre-season friendly match on Thursday, 7th January, 2021 at the Tamale Technical University Football Park. Both clubs are preparing for their respective 2021 regional women’s division one leagues.
This is the second time Dahinshali Ladies Fc is facing a club from Bolga after they played Sharp Arrows Ladies Fc in the 2016 Women’s division one middle league in Bolga of which Dahinshali Ladies Fc won the match on penalties.
The winners of the 2015/2016 Northern Regional women’s division one league, Dahinsheli Ladies Fc have already played a lot of pre-season friendly matches this season but this might be the biggest friendly match to have been played by the Kalpohini based Women’s club.
Tanga Queens is owned by the current Assistant Coach of Ghana male U-20 national team, Mr Abdul – Fataw Kiyoyo. It is one of the clubs in Upper East Region that is fast growing and developing.
The match is expected to be interesting as both clubs will want to show their classes in the match.
Ghana Football Association (GFA) is yet to give RFAs the go ahead to organize the various regional women’s league competitions.
