Tamale based Women’s Division One club, Dahinsheli Ladies Football club has appointed Tahiru Memunatu, popularly known as ‘Mimi’ as the new welfare Officer of the club.
As part of Club Licensing Regulations and the club’s ambition of qualifying for next season’s Ghana Women’s Premier League. This is part of the management’s intention to restructure the club to meet the national standards.
The Former Player of University for Development Studies (UDS) who played Football and Volleyball is now a business woman with the interest in supporting footballers to get to where she wanted to get to but could not get there due to some challenges.
MIMI as she is known and called had her Primary and Junior High School education in Danabida Educational Complex and later proceeded to Juabin Senior High School for her secondary education.
Memunatu is expected to take charge of the welfare needs of the players in Dahinsheli Ladies Football Club from now till her time comes.
Dahinsheli Ladies recently acquired footballs, Jerseys and football boots for the players from the Covid-19 relief fund they got from GFA in preparation towards the start of the 2020/2021 season.
