WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: DAHINSHELI LADIES FC ACQUIRE TRAINING EQUIPMENT FROM COVID RELIEF FUND
The Tamale based Women’s Division one club, Dahinsheli Ladies Fc has acquire sets of Jersey, Footballs and Football Boots to help solve the inadequate training equipment the team faces.
The club which was founded in 2012 and qualified to middle league in 2015/2016 league season is seriously preparing with the aim of qualifying to the Women’s Premier League this time around.
sportsmrnews.com can confirm that the equipment are bought from the Covid-19 relief fund that has been given to the Division One clubs by the Ghana Football Association.
The operation “One-player One-ball” and “One-player One-boot” set up by the management has been achieved by this prudent use of the relief fund.
At the club’s training ground at Kalpohin Anglican JHS park on Wednesday, the players were seen happily training with the new balls and boots under the instruction of the head coach.
The players and management expressed their gratitude to the Ghana Football Association and FIFA for the relief fund.
“We cannot express how grateful we are to the GFA for thinking about us but we are still asking for more” the team captain AwellmbIla Rosemary stated
The Head Coach of the club, Sumaila Mustapha is currently preparing for the upcoming Division one league.
