Women’s Football : CEO of Bagabaga Ladies, Mohammed Andani Awee donates Cartons of Awake Mineral Water to Northern Ladies FC.
The CEO of Division one league side, Bagabaga Ladies Fc who doubled as the Vice Chairman of the Women’s Clubs Association, Northern Region, Mr. Mohammed Andani Awee, publicly known as N-Yab’ Andani donated 10 cartons of Awake Mineral Water to Women’s Premier League side, Northern Ladies Fc. The donation was made on Thursday, 1st April, 2021 at the club’s training grounds.
Mr. Andani has a great ambition of developing Women’s Football in the Northern Region and has been doing a lot to achieve the ambition. He has established himself as one of the top advocates for Women’s Football development in Ghana. He is one of the few that initiated ‘Unity Games Competition’ that has developed so many women’s clubs and players in Northern Region.
The presentation of the donation was made by Mr. Sayibu Yakubu, an Exco Member of Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association on behalf of the CEO.

Receiving the donation on behalf of Northern Ladies FC was the Chairman of the club, Mr Abdul-Rahaman Abubakari, popularly known Chairman Lincoln. He thanked the CEO, Mr Andani for his kind gesture and called on other philanthropists to follow N-Yab’ Andani’s foot steps in supporting women’s football to grow in Northern Region.
Under the leadership of N-Yab Andani as CEO of Bagabaga Ladies Football Club, the club has been able to produce three players to Ghana National U-17 women’s team, the Black Maidens. Those players are Abdulai Salamatu Nte, Yahaya Asana, and Ziblim Farhana.
Bagabaga Ladies can also boast of some other great players such Iddrisu Iklima, Yushaw Fuseina (Ramirez), Iddrisu Rukaya that are yet to receive national teams call ups.
The humble and hard working football administrator is also the chairman of Women’s Football Association in the Yendi Municipality and also the owner of women’s club, Gbewaa Ladies Fc based in Yendi.
