WOMEN’S FOOTBALL : ABDULAI MUKARAMA VOTED BEST PLAYER OF THE TWO NATIONS CUP (U-20 CATEGOR) COMPETITION.
The captain of Black Princesses and a striker of Northern Ladies Fc , Abdulai Mukarama has done it again by winning the overall best player award (U-20 Category) in the just ended two nations cup competition ie Ghana and Morocco. The two countries were involved in two nations cup competition which was played in two leagues acrossed two teams, Black Princesses and Black Queens.
The first leagues were played on Thursday, 26th November, 2020. Black Princesses of Ghana took on the Young Atlas Lioness of Morocco in the morning which ended 1 0 in favour of Morocco whiles the Black Queens were up against the Atlas Lioness in the evening which also ended 3 1 in favour of the Black Queens of Ghana.
The return Leagues were played on Monday, 30th November, 2020 with the Black Princesses taking a revenge by beating the Young Atlas Lioness by 4 0. The Golden boot winner of the Women’s U-17 Fifa World Cup held in Uruguay, Abdulai Mukarama got a brace in the encounter.
Black Queens of Ghana also made it a back to back win over the North Africans by beating them 2 0 in the return encounter. Juliet Acheampong of Prisons Ladies Fc also won the best player award of the senior category.
