Women’s FA Cup: Tamale Super Ladies and PearlPia Ladies Progress to the Round of 16

Tamale Super Ladies progress through to the round of 16 of the Women’s FA Cup after beating Northern Ladies FC by 2-0 on Friday at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Striker Salifu Fadila scored both goals to give Tamale Super Ladies their second consecutive win over fellow Malta Guinness Premier League side, Northern Ladies.
The two clubs, Tamale Super Ladies and Northern Ladies would meet again in a week time in Malta Guinness Premier League.
Pearlpia Ladies also made it to the round of 16 after running riot over Division One League side, Bagabaga Ladies FC with a 7-1 win. Fuseina Mumuni, Ibrahim Bari Kusumi, Abdul Rashid Faiza, Federica Torkuzor, and Abdul Rahman Samira scored a goal each while Aoyem Georgina Ayisha score a brace to make it 7 for PearlPia Ladies. Mbangba Alimatu got a consolation goal for Bagabaga Ladies FC and also won the MVP award.
The league contenders, PearlPia Ladies is looking to continue their winning stretch as they get ready for the next League match.
