Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has made it clear that it was never his motive to disrespect Kumasi Asante Kotoko as speculated by the media and the general public.
Wakaso on Tuesday was trending on social media for the bad reasons, for responding to a purported transfer rumour, which was linking him to Ghanaian giant’s Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The Midfielder responding to the said allegation which was been championed by Sports website ghanasoccernet.com, he quoted the site and wrote ” keep on fooling gymii”, it raised a public outcry especially to Kotoko fans who felt the Midfielder has underated their club, and labelled him with all kinds of insults on social media.
But in responding to the accusations today, Wakaso wrote on Twitter.
“GM. I get answers to all your allegations but abeg ooo do I mentioned Kotoko in my tweet? I was just shaming a fake article writen by some foolish gymiii people biii which i knew nothing about it that’s all #keeponfoolinggymiii,” Wakaso wrote on Twitter.
He is currently with the Black Stars squad preparing for the Afcon qualifiers double header against South Africa and Sao Tome.
