UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCH SUMMARIES: ARSENAL THE TALKING POINT

Arsenals returned to the Champions League in a dramatic fashion as they play host to PSV. The team displayed dominance with a 4-0 victory over PSV. Bukayo Saka found the net in the 8th minute, followed by Leandro Trossard in the 20th minute. Gabriel Jesus struck in the 38th minute, and M. Odegaard sealed the deal in the 70th minute.

 

In a thrilling contest, Bayern Munich narrowly edged out Manchester United 4-3. Leroy Sane opened the scoring in the 28th minute, followed by S. Gnabry in the 32nd minute. An unfortunate own goal by Harry Kane gifted Bayern another goal in the 53rd minute, and Mathys Tel secured the win in injury time at 90+2 minutes. Manchester United fought back with goals from Rasmus Hojl in the 49th minute and a late brace from Casemiro in the 88th and 90+5 minutes.

Real Madrid secured a 1-0 victory over Union Berlin, with J. Bellingham scoring the decisive goal in injury time at 90+4 minutes.

 

Galatasaray and Kobenhavn battled to a 2-2 draw in an evenly contested match.
