Ghana takes revenge against Gambia after a 1-0 victory through a 33rd minutes free kick from Percious Boah.The young elephant beat Ghana by 2-1 in their group C final game, which qualified them to the quarter finals and they won against Central African Republic and made to the Semi-finals.
The Ghanaians after their defeat against Gambia, were paired against Cameroon which they won 4-2 on penalties after a dramatic 1-1 draw at extra time.
Today was a time for revenge and they really done it in a beautiful and painful way against Gambia today.
The Gambians really played well to get an equalizer, Jallow was sensational against the Satellites but a good defensive work and good goalkeeping from Danladi helped the Ghanaian’s to prevent him from scoring.
The rising Ghanaian star Fataw Issahaku was also on good form, he managed to heat another thunderbolt strike but unfortunately for him he couldn’t make it as it was just few inches above the post.
Ghana after their victory, will head straight to the grand finale, waiting for a winner from Uganda versus Tunisia game.
The Satellites will want to win the trophy to make it four for Ghana after previously winning it in 1993, 1999 and 2009.
