The Premier League Club, Northern Ladies Fc has confirmed the signing of two players, Amenyeku Afi and Krampah Lydia in the ongoing transfer window. The two players successfully underwent the mandatory Covid-19 test and have now formally included on the squad sheet of Northern Ladies Fc. Hence, both players are available for selection in the match against Supreme Ladies on Friday, 26th February, 2021 at Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Amenyeku Afi, a goalkeeper is signed from Tamale Super Ladies Fc for an undisclosed fee. She is expected to provide a stiff competition to Northern Ladies first choice goalkeeper, Issahaku Barikisu. The 16yrs old goalkeeper is one of the best young female goalkeepers in Ghana.
The other player is Krampah Lydia. The experience Striker is signed from Hassport Ladies Fc in Koforidua. She could be a perfect solution to coach Basiru-Deen Sumani’s goal scoring woes. She could be a replacement for Abdulai Mukarama in terms of goal scoring if things turn out to be good for her. She has the ability to take on defenders using her dribbling skills and can also shoot on goal from any angle.
Northern Ladies take on Supreme Ladies from Kumasi on Friday, 26th February, 2021 on Match Day 6 at Aliu Mahama Stadium.
