Transfer News : Northern Ladies Close to Finalizing the Move for FC Savanna Midfielder, Abigail Amor.

The Northern based Women’s Premier League club, Northern Ladies have confirmed that they have agreed a deal to sign Abigail Amor from Tamale based Women’s division one club, FC Savanna for an undisclosed fee. The information also disclosed that Northern Ladies player, Alhassan Rafia would move the other way on a season-long loan.

Abigail Amor was a member of the Ghana National U-17 Women’s team, the Black Maidens. She had a call up to the U-17 side in 2020 because of her good work in the midfield.

Abigail possess some special features that have made her a unique figure in any team she plays. She is energetic which makes it easier for her to win balls from her opponents.
She has also got a good stamina to her energy, which is why when she blocked the ball, there’s no way anyone can picked it from her.

The yet to be confirmed Northern Ladies player is also a specialist in handling the ball. She is accurate in distributing the ball, very perfect passing skills and just to top it all, her ability to send long searching balls to attackers has made her a worry to opposition coaches.

Abigail, when confirmed will form a solid and deadly midfield partnership with Yakubu Adamu and Doris Afafa. This type of midfield can contain midfielders of any opposing team.

Abigail’s accuracy in ball distribution and her long range balls could be utilize well by Jafar Rahama and the other attacking players.

The ongoing Women’s Premier League is heating up and Northern Fc is also beefing up their squad to shoulder well with the other clubs in the league, especially in the Northern Zone despite the absence of Abdulai Mukarama who was very instrumental to the team.
