English giants Liverpool FC has signed Ghanaian prodigy Abdul Fataw Issahaku from Ghana Division One club Steadfast FC.
Abdul Fataw signed a 5-year deal with the 19 times English Champions,which is reported to be in a region of £1.5m.
Fataw last week flew to Germany with the hope of passing his medicals and signing for Bayer Leverkusen, but the deal could not materialize as the Germany club pulled out as a result of scandalous behavior from his advisor.
Fataw came into prominence after captaining the Ghana U-17 team to Togo for the WAFU Zone B tournament.
His exploits led to him receiving a call up to the Black Satellites team for the Afcon U-20 Championship in Mauritania.
He scored two remarkable goals and provided one assist as Ghana won the trophy.
Fataw was adjudged the overall best player of the tournament for his great show.
He was subsequently given a call up to the Black Stars team to face South Africa and Sao Tome for the final qualifying rounds of the 2022 AFCON.
He has also been given a call up to the Black Stars to face Morocco and Ivory Coast next month in a friendly encounter.
The 17- year old has been doing marvelous work in the Division One League also, scoring eight goals, providing six assist and has also won five MVP awards.
Per the reports, Fataw will be loaned out as he currently does not have work permit to stay in England.
