Transfer Gossip : Ajax set asking price for Manchester United to sign Antony and Lisandro Martinez

Manchester United have been told they must pay around £105million to secure the signings of Lisandro Martinez and Antony, after Ajax rebuffed two offers from the Red Devils for the players.
Martinez, 24, has twice asked Ajax to accept a bid from United for his services but the club’s latest offer of around £42.5m falls short of the Dutch club’s asking price.
Though United remain confident that an agreement can be closed, Ajax are viewing Martinez’s potential departure alongside that of his team-mate Antony.
The Brazilian is valued at £67m by Ajax and United’s opening offer of around £51m was rejected out of hand.
Ajax want to raise around £105m from the sale of the two players, according to the Times, and Ten Hag is pressurising his board to raise their offers.
Ten Hag had planned to have the players in his squad for the start of the club’s tour of the far-east and Australia but Tyrell Malacia remains the club’s only arrival so far.
United have agreed personal terms with Christian Eriksen over a move to Old Trafford, with the Dane expected to sign his contract next week.
