TMFA : Tamale Metro FA Wishes Mubarak Wakaso well in his new club, Shenzhen Fc in China.
Wakaso Mubarak had been without a club since the beginning of the season after winning the Chinese Super League Cup with Jiangsu Suning in 2020. Jiangsu Suning got liquidated and rendered all their players including Wakaso club-less.
It was rumored that several clubs in Europe showed interest in the Tamale based Black Stars midfielder in the summer. However, the powerful left footed midfielder opted for Chinese club, Shenzhen Fc and signed a Four year contract with the club. The confirmation was made on 12th April, 2021.
On behalf of Tamale Metro Football Association, the Chairman of the association, Mr Abdul-Aziz Ramzy congratulated Wakaso for getting another opportunity to show that there is still a lot in him when it comes to football. The Chairman also used the opportunity to wish him well, saying that Tamale Metro Football Association will continue to be proud of him.
As the proud son of Tamale Metro Football Association and Northern Regional Football Association at large, Mubarak Wakaso donated a huge sum of money to the association for a competition that was designed by Tamale Metro Football Association to honor him as a proud son of the association. The competition, WAKASO ANNUAL CHALLENGE CUP will take effect once a green light is given for Juvenile Football to return.
Tamale Metro Football Association is seriously putting things in order ahead of the resumption of all competitions that fall within its jurisdiction.
