Thomas Tuchel impressive start for Chelsea continues with a win at Anfield
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is yet to be defeated since he took over from Frank Lampard almost two months ago.
The German superseded his tenth game against Liverpool today and he managed to win thanks to a Mason Mount goal.
Tuchel has managed to escape a defeat against some of the tough teams in the World. They have played against Man Utd, Atletico Madrid in the Champions league and today it was Liverpool.
It was believed that the reds will upset Tuchel teams today but it turned out to be the opposite.
Chelsea are next in action against Everton at Stamford Bridge in their Premier League clash on Monday. Liverpool will look to avoid a sixth
league defeat on the bounce at Anfield in their match against Fulham on Sunday.
Chelsea secure a vital win in the battle for the top four, defeating Liverpool 1-0 in their Premier League clash at Anfield. Mason Mount scored the only goal of the game with a sublime finish just before the interval, while Timo Werner had previously had a goal disallowed by VAR for offside.
The Reds struggled throughout the contest and subsequently lost their fifth league game in a row on home soil – an unwanted club record for Jorgen Klopp men.
Tuchel will be happy for his start in England and will hope he avoids a defeat against a tougher opponent on Monday which is Everton. Ancelloti men had a brighter start of the season but subsequently lost their way, but lately they have regained their momentum and things could be hard for Thomas Tuchel and his new found club Chelsea.
