The 2020/2021 TTH Sunday League is upon us, after last season’s conclusion with the red team annexing the title, the quest for bragging rights in 2020/21 edition starts this weekend on Sunday, 22nd November 2020.
Red Team is looking to hold off the challenge of the Blue Team – to retain the title. The 15 game race for coveted glory should be fiercer than ever.
And with both teams beefing up their set ups with stellar additions the competition can only be keener. The inaugural season was filled with fun and at times heated fixtures and laced with some magical moments.
With arguably last season’s best player out with a long term groin problem, he faces an uphill task to remain the League’s best of the bunch. Will Nathan repeat his deadly eye for goal and swoop another golden boot with 8 goals in a record few 6 appearances?
Will the the Blue Team’s sleeping goal poacher in Ishmael recover from his slumber and fire the Blue team to glory? Or will the leadership qualities of Sammy Tugah, Adongo and Ntow be the trick for the Blue lads.
What is certainly guaranteed is that new signings Herbs Dokta Azuss and Paa Mangala will want to prove a point and bite the hands that once fed them.
Expect thrills, expect epic clashes, but above all expect the TTH league to be better than it was last season.
Players to watch
Ntow of blue team – The defense of the blue team couldn’t stop conceding goals Is he the man to help them stop the concession?
Razak of blue team – The blue team had a misfiring frontline which delivered just 6 goals in 15games. Can he lead the line with greater conversion rate? He comes with a great reputation on getting goals out of nothing.
Nathan of Red team – Can last season’s goal-king regain his crown come the end of this season? He hit 8 goals in 7 games
