Steadfast fc former coach Ogba Mohammed Bashar appointed as Head Coach of AS SONIDEP in Niger

Coach Ogba Mohammed Bashar

Ghanaian trainer Ogba Mohammed Bashar appointed as head coach of Niger giants AS SONIDEP for the 2020/2021 season.

Bashar was in charge of Sahel FC in the Niger Premier League in the 2019/2020. He was appointed head coach of Sahel in October 2019.

Before the Coronavirus break, Sahel were lying 2nd on the standings in the championship.

Mohammed Bashar won 12, drew 3 and lost 5 out of the 20 matches he played at the time of the cancellation of the league.

Coach Ogba holds a CAF License A certificate and has handled Sporting Mirren in the Ghanaian second-tier.

He also coached clubs like Zytuna FC, Steadfast fc, Rising Star Academy, Vodafone FC, Rago Stars, and Danbort FC all in Ghana.

And also a lower-tier outfit De Sapele Lions FC in Nigeria.

Bashar is tasked to guide SONIDEP to the group stage of the CAF Champions League and also win the Niger top-flight championship.
