Statement: RTU does not owe GFA a penny, NSA revealed
The National Sports Authority, Northern Region has issued a statement indicating it is their responsibility to pay Ghana Football Association thier share of gate proceeds.
GFA charged RTU for failing to pay their share of gate proceeds for 11 selected matches and the club has since responded to the charges.
The statement signed by the Administrator, Mr Samuel Nii Oblie, stated that the Authority has paid all moneys to the GFA and that the last payment date was 2nd June, 2022.
It is rather surprising that GFA will charge an innocent club regarding gate proceeds and are unaware that it is not their responsibility.
