SAWLA-TUNA-KALBA DISTRICT FA HOLDS ONE DAY CAPACITY BUILDING TRAINING TO EXCO AND CLUB MANAGERS

“Nothing in human life gets transformed unless the mind is transformed ” and capacity building shall be the hallmark of our administration says Alhassan AbdulRaman, Chairman of STK District Football Association.

The Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District Football Association on Sunday 22nd November,2020, organised a one day capacity building programme on football management and administration for the District Executive Council members, Club reps and other major stakeholders from Damongo and Bole.

Alhassan Abdul-Rahman commended the Ghana Football Association and the Northern Regional Football Association for their numerous contributions to the development of football.

Considering the emerging trends of football in the 21st century, it’s necessary for us to cope with development in order to unearth talents more talents to the world.” He added

The Ghana Football Association and the Northern Regional Football Association has since rolled out a good number of projects geared towards developing the capacity of members like the catch them young referees project of which registration is ongoing and the Northern Regional Football Association training of clubs on how to register on the fifaconnect system, the Medical Committee training of District representatives on how to handle injuries etc. as steps in the right direction.

The Northern Regional FA Chairman, Alhaji Hassan Mahamadu Rhyzo who was accompanied by a Regional Executive Council member Mr. Mohammed Tahiru, commended the District Football Association for “thinking outside the box” to develop capacity of their members and urged them to surge on.

A former Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Former Chief executive officer of Medeama and Aduana Stars and currently Chief Executive Officer of Techiman Eleven Wonders and Vice Chairman of Black Satellites Management committee was the resource for the programme.

Participants were taken through the following topics;
1. Structure of World Football
2. General Administrative Practices
3. Principles and practice of Leadership
4. Conflict and Conflict resolution
5. Ethics in Football
6. Contract
7. Release letters
8. Protest/ Responses
9. Addressing letters to the RFA.
Certificates of participation was presented to all participants.

The programme, a joint partnership between the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District Football Association and African Soccer Agency is aimed at enlightening the managerial skills of the DFA EXCO and club managers of the District.
