Samuel Eto’o donates 10 Ambulances to Cameroon Health Ministry

Cameroon and Africa legend Samuel Eto’o has donated 10 ambulances to the Cameroon Health Ministry to help in the fight against Coronavirus.

The former Intermilan and Barcelona striker has been touched by how the pandemic, Coronavirus affected his country and has offered to help with the donation of ambulances.

Eto’o, who is now 40 years has paid £530,000 to fund the ambulance last week to the Cameroon Health Ministry.

Eto’o after the presentation wrote on his social media account;

“Donating 10 ambulances to the Ministry of Health in Cameroon. Was such an honour to be able to do this for my country, so more people can be helped in emergency situations.”

Eto’o’s charity foundation provided over 50,000 free protective face masks to taxi drivers in the central african nation last year.

The four time african player of the year also distributed several food items, soaps, sanitisers and protective equipment to over 100,000 people in Cameroon last year in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.

Samuel Eto’o is a three time UEFA Champions League winner, the only African to archived that, he also led Cameroon to win the 2000 and 2002 African Cup.

His love for Cameroon can’t be estimated, he has helped thousands of people in the country.
