Sagnarigu Municipal Juvenile Leagues (U17), 2021 : Young Lions and Prospect Fc Are the Champions.

The juvenile league (U17) for Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association came to an end on Saturday, 30th October, 2021 at Aliu Mahama Stadium Annex. The 2021 league ended with coronation matches for both the premier league and Division One League. Awards were giving out to deserving individuals and clubs in the coronation. Young Lions Fc and Prospect Fc emerged winners of the U17 Premier League and Division One League respectively.

Below is the detail of the Coronation.

JUVENILE PREMIER LEAGUE (U17) CORONATION MATCH ON SATURDAY

Young Lions FC 4-0 Young Meteors FC. Mohammed Sadat⚽⚽, Yussif Yussif⚽, Mashud Hashim⚽

DIVISION ONE(1)- UNDER 17:
Prospects FC 1-1 Galbang FC…
Prospects FC won 5-4 on a penalty shootout.

PRIZES:

Young Lions FC:
Trophy, Cash Amount, 4 Footballs

Wunnam FC: (2nd)- 3 Balls

Gangdu FC: (3rd)- 2 Balls

DIVISION ONE UNDER 17:
Prospects FC (Winners) Trophy, Cash Amount, 3 Balls.

Galbang FC (2nd Position) – 2 Balls.

Meanwhile, the rest of the other participating clubs received 1 Ball each.

Representing RFA, Northern Region were Hajia Zelia Iddi (Women’s Committee Chairperson), Mr Alhassan Yakubu Dawuo (Juvenile Committee Chairman) and Mr. A. A Alhassan (Referees Manager).

Speaking on behalf of NRFA Chairman, Alhaj Abu Hassan Rhyzo was the Northern Regional Juvenile Committee Chairman, Mr Yakubu Dawuo who thanked all the stakeholders of football in the Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association for the wonderful Job done. He called on the young players to be discipline and take their education very serious.

The Chairman of Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association, Mr Ibrahim Dauda expressed his delight and gratitude to all the clubs for their support before and during the leagues. He commended the young players, coaches, team managers and fans for the good work they did in the course of leagues.

Chairman Dauda also called on the juvenile players to be discipline, not just to their coaches but to everyone in the football fraternity. The CEO of Northern Zaytuna FC also thanked Alhaj Abu Hassan Rhyzo, chairman of Northern Regional Aootball Association for his support to Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association.

The fast rising football administrator also charged all clubs in Sagnarigu Municipality and beyond to brand their clubs well in order to attract sponsors and philanthropists to come to their aid.

Young Lions Fc will represent Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association in the Northern Regional U-17 Juvenile League later this year.
