RTU will qualify for 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League
The head coach of Real Tamale United (RTU) and the Sports Director of University For Development Studies (UDS), Mr Ibrahim shaibu Tanko, has assured the borad, management and of players of the pride of the north that, he will qualify the team for the next premier league season. He made the assurance after he met with the board, management, players and supporters of the club in a meeting held on Friday, 2nd October, 2020 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
He promised the board Chairman of the club, Dr. Issahaku Nashiru, that he would ensure RTU returns to the premiership next season. Mr Tanko, who is popularly known as ‘Off the Road’ said RTU is a big club, and being an old player of the club, he is now doing his national service for the club without a pay.
In the meeting, the board chairman of the club, Dr Issahaku Abdul Nasir also assured them that all the needed financial support will be given to the club to enhance the qualification bid of the club for the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season.
He noted that, all players are expected to be back in training this week.
