RTU secures the signature of AshantiGold midfielder David Abagna Sandan

The newly promoted Ghana Premier League club, Real Tamale United have secured the signature of Midfielder David Abagna ahead of Asante Kotoko SC.

The midfielder signed a three-year deal with the ‘Pride of the North’ as they prepare to start their Premier League matches in October. David Abagna is one of the talented Midfielders who has scored 9 goals, 5 assists, 4 MVP awards in 30 matches last season.

The 23-year Abagna will return to his birth place to continue his football carrier and will be glad to make a change in RTU. He was part of Wa All Stars team that won the Ghana Premier League in 2016. He scored 10 goals for his club that season.

Several clubs expressed interest in the midfielder including Kotoko Ashanti Kotoko but Abagna finally landed in RTU.
