RTU is the Only Club We Have; We Cannot Let It Collapse – Hon. Ali Adolf
Real Tamale United SC (RTU) paid a courtesy visit to the Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Ali Adolf John, at the Regional Coordinating Council on Thursday, February 27, 2025. The visit aimed to introduce the team to the minister, who serves as the chief patron of the club. The delegation included management, players, and leaders of the supporters’ union.
During the meeting, RTU CEO, Mr. Zakaria Sofianu, updated the minister on the club’s operations and challenges. He also appealed for the minister’s support in securing sponsorship should the club qualify for the Ghana Premier League.
Hon. Adolf warmly welcomed the team and pledged his full backing, stressing that RTU is a symbol of pride for the Northern Region and must be safeguarded.

He further urged the players to stay focused, disciplined, and committed to their performance, assuring them that he and the club’s management would take care of the rest.
The minister’s assurance is expected to motivate both the players and management as they strive for success in Ghanaian football.
The club used the opportunity to present the Pre-Season Tournament Trophy the won few months ago to the Regional Minister.
