“Review your decision to ban RTU from its home base” CEO appeals to GFA

The Chief Executive Officer of Real Tamale United, Kasim Peres has written to the Ghana Football Association to appeal it’s decision to ban the club indefinitely from using Aliu Mahama Stadium for their home matches.
A letter sited by sportsmrnews.com signed by the club’s CEO indicates the steps taken the club to get the culprits arrested and punished.
According to the letter, the club has assisted the police to arrest persons involved in the attack on match officials as directed by the Ghana Football Association.
The letter also stated that, some supporters of the club confronted the culprits in order to apprehend them but they fled. The statement also reiterated that the culprits committed those acts base on their own volution and not sanctioned by the club.

The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Monday banned the Tamale Stadium indefinitely with immediate effect.
The decision it was taken following the assault on the Match Officials by two home supporters in the Ghana Premier League match between Real Tamale United FC (RTU) and Aduana FC on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
