Transfer News: Real Tamale United sign twelve players in the second transfer window to beef up their squad
Northern based division one club Real Tamale United has signed twelve players to beef up their squad in their pursuit to qualify to the Premiership.
The Pride of the north is currently top of the zone one league table after playing twelve matches.
The competition is so steef in the zone that only fewer points or goals are making the difference for teams currently occupying the top six positions.
The second transfer window just closed Yesterday, and they have been busy in the transfer market trying to get in touch with experience and talented players to help them make it back to the Premier League.
One of the signings has already make his name known since he was brought in few weeks ago. Ronald Frimpong who was signed from Nzema Kotoko has been in a sensational form, scoring three goals and providing one assist in his first three games for the club. He received the MVP award in their 3-0 win over B.A United in during the weekend.
There’s no doubt that his addition to the squad has brought a sparkling form to RTU.
The club has also brought in two experience players from fellow division one club Yendi Gbewaa FC. One of them Sakibu Adam has been great in front of goal and his addition could help solve the goal scoring problems in the team.
Iddrisu Mohammed Gadafi has also been signed to help in the midfield as they hope to dominate the ball.
Another great signing from the team is bringing in an experience Tamale Tiyumba fc defender Zakaria Jabbar, he is one of the great figures for the division two club which is based in Tamale.
Other signings made by the club includes Abuba Mohammed Muntala – Shelter Force FC, Ibrahim Busanga Abdullah – Royal FC , Yussif Alhassan – Tamale Dreams FC, Gerrard Akouko Ofori – Soccer Academy, Stephen Badu Dankwa, Abukari Haruna- Paradise Youth, Anuwaru Masahudu and Mohammed Hafiz from Cheetah FC.
Coach Shaibu Tanko will hope he gets the best out of this twelve signings, as they hope on a return to the Ghanaian topflight.
Next game for Real Tamale United is a derby game against the inform Steadfast Fc who are also chasing for the only Premiership slot in the zone.
