Real Tamale United charged for failing to pay GFA share of gate proceeds
Ghana Football Association has charged Premier League side Real Tamale United for failing to pay the FA share of the gate proceeds for 11 selected home matches.
The particulars of the charges stated that, Real Tamale United, you for Match Day One, Three, Five, Seven, Nine, Thirteen, Nineteen, Twenty-one, Twenty-three, and Twenty-five of the Ghana Premier League 2021/2022 matches failed to pay the GFA, it’s share of the gate proceeds. This is in breach of Article (39)(2) of GFA Premier League Regulations 2019.
It is still not clear, why GFA waited till now to issue the charge sheet at the time the club is battling relegation. RTU plays their Final league against Accra Hearts of Oak which will determine the faith of the team.

Real Tamale United have since submitted their response and indicated it is the responsibility of National Sports Authority to make those payments and subsequently submit the financial statements.
