Protect Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, he is the next Abedi Pele – Dreams FC Coach Karim Zito
2021 AFCON U-20 Championship winning coach, Karim Zito has voiced out to referee’s to try to protect 17 year old Abdul Fatawu Issahaku. The young chap came into spotlight after his impressive performance at the 2021 Afcon U-20 Championship in Mauritania which he emerged the MVP Award Winner.
He currently plays for Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League on loan from Steadfast FC. He has scored four goals in three games so far. And has also been consistently given call up’s to the Black Stars team.
Coach Karim Zito who coached him during the u-20 championship and also at Dreams FC, has called out the Ghanaian referees to protect the young sensational talent from being injured by colleague players.
“Fatawu is the Abedi Pele and the referees have to guide him and this is what they do in Europe especially when a player comes has just emerged”.
“Definitely clubs would come with a plan against him just to injure him and at the end of the day Ghana loses and I pray to God protect him from injuries,” he said.
