President Akuffo Addo made a personal donation of $5,000 to Fatawu Issahaku and some of his colleagues
The Black Satellites team paid a courtesy call on the President to present the African youth championship trophy to him today.
In thanking them for their good performance he announced that the Technical Team will each be given $5,000 for their role in helping the boys to win the U-20 Afcon trophy.
He also announced that $10,000 reward package will be given to each player, he however made it clear that half of the money will be used as investment for the players.
He also made a personal donation of $5,000 to some of the players and the coach for winning individual awards at the tournament.
Abdul Fataw Issahaku won the player of the tournament award after his exploits, he scored two goals and assisted one. His role was just more than scoring goals but his ability to dribbling his opponents and his ball deliverance made him a center of attraction to all.
Ibrahim Danladi also won the Goalkeeper of the tournament award and Afriyie Barnieh won the MVP award for his two goals which was enough to win Ghana the trophy.
