Ghana’s head coach, Otto Addo, has expressed strong confidence in the Black Stars, asserting that the team has the potential to play quality football and secure wins.
In an interview with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) media team, Addo emphasized the players’ skills, citing their performances in recent home matches against Angola and Sudan during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
“I trust that anyone who understands football has witnessed our home games against Nigeria, Angola, and Sudan in Accra. The players have what it takes. If we concentrate on our strengths and consistently seek to utilize them, we can deliver good football,” he stated.
Addo continued, “We possess players who can merge quality football with passion, which will propel us forward, even in challenging times. Honestly, I’ve felt a bit down recently, but the positive feedback and support from family and friends have been uplifting.”
Despite the hurdles facing Ghana in the AFCON qualifiers, Coach Addo remains hopeful, confident that qualification is still within reach as they approach their final two matches in Group F.
