OPENING OF SECOND REGISTRATION WINDOW AND COVID-19 TEST.
The Ghana Football Association wishes to announce to the general public and all club administrators that the Second registration window of the 2020/2021 league season has been opened on the midnight of February 16, 2021.
Clubs are, however, reminded that a new player requires CoVID-19 test and a permission from the Association inconjunction with the (COVID-19 Team) before they can partake in any GFA competition.
The Association will soon indicate the schedule for another full CoVID-19 Test for clubs.
Clubs are also to take note that the second registration window will close at exactly 11:59pm on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
Reference is also made to the directive that no player (member of a Technical Team) will take part in any GFA competition unless and until they have undergone a Covid-19 test and have been given approval to play in the competition.
Clubs are also reminded to take note of the International Transfer Window (the use of TMS) and the Domestic Transfer Window (use of TMS) which opened on 00:01am on Friday, February 12, 2021 and will closed at exactly 11:59pm on Sunday, March 14, 2021.
Clubs are to further take note that applications which do not meet the correct or minimum standards SHALL BE REJECTED.
ln this regard, proof of identity of applicants must be a government document which bears the full name of the applicant, date of birth, picture of the Applicant, nationality and ID number.
And that there SHALL be NO EXTENTION of the above deadlines.
