Nuhu Rashid partners Football for the World Foundation to donate to Tamale Liberty FC
Football for the World Foundation, a US-based organisation on Monday, donated football equipment and materials to Tamale Liberty FC, a multi-division club in the Northern Region of Ghana.
The donation was made possible due to the club’s former player Nuhu Rashid’s association with the Union Omaha Professional Team.
In all, a total of 30 footballs, 24 pieces of jerseys, 26 white shorts, 16 football boots, 3 sets of goalkeepers jersey and shorts and many other items were donated to Tamale Liberty FC that has U-8, U-10, U-12, U-15, U-17, Division 3 and Division 2 under its umbrella.
Head Coach of the club, Adjei Thomas receiving the items on behalf of the club said they are grateful to Football for the World Foundation and Rashid for the kind gesture and assured them that the items would be put into good use.
Nuhu Rashid is a professional GoalKeeper who is currently in the United States of America. He plays for Union Omaha Professional Club and formerly of Tamale Liberty FC.
Football for the World Foundation sent some words of encouragement through a handwritten note.
