NRFA Women’s DOL : Supporters of Bagabaga Ladies FC Make a Donation to the Club.

The Supporters of Northern Region women’s division one league club, Bagabaga Ladies FC have donated drinks and Cash to the Club as part of their efforts to push the club into the Ghana Women’s Premier League. The donation was done on Sunday, 15th August, 2021 at Disability Center, Tamale where the club is currently camping.

Doing the presentation on behalf of the supporters was the Supporters Chairman, Alhaj Dauda. The Chairman revealed the reason for the donation by mentioning that Bagabaga Ladies FC was fined by NRFA on a misconduct and that the club has some few days to pay the fine, hence the need for the Supporters to come in and help the club to pay the fine. An amount of Ghc 500.00 was presented along side some carton of drinks to the management of the club to enable them pay the fine of Ghc Ghc 500.00.

Receiving the money and the drinks on behalf of Bagabaga Ladies FC was the deputy CEO of the club, Mr Mustapha Abdul-Razak. The Deputy CEO was overwhelmed with the kind gesture by the Supporters and thanked them for coming to the aid of the club at the time of in need.

The Technical Director of the, Alhaj Wowo also thanked the supporters for the support given to them at this crucial moment. He urged them to continue giving them supports of that kind and don’t forget to include the club in their prayers.

The captain of the club, Iddrisu Iklima on behalf of the playing body expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the supporters for the love shown them. According to the skipper, the players will always make sure that they put smiles into the faces of the supporters by winning more matches. The ‘El Capitano’ stated that supporters are doing a lot for clubs without expecting anything in return but wins to make them happy, hence she together with her colleagues shall pay the supporters with more wins.

Bagabaga Ladies FC

Bagabaga ladies Fc took on Beyom Ladies in Nyankpala on Sunday but the match ended ubruptly due to assault on match officials by fans of the home side, Beyom Ladies. Bagabaga ladies was leading 2-0 before the incident. The team shall take on Nasara Ladies Midweek, Wednesday before Fc Young Queens at the weekend.
