NRFA Women’s DOL : Nasara Ladies Midfielder, Iddrisu Baraka Wins MVP Award for the Second Time in Five Matches.

Northern Regional Women’s Division One League is in its fifth week with Nasara Ladies recording an emphatic victory against Nyankpala based Beyom Ladies. The match produced six goals of which Nasara Ladies scored 5. Abdulai Bintu was on the scoresheet for four times. However the player who assisted her to score the goals was Iddrisu Baraka who was eventually adjudged the best player of the Match.

It was the second time in five matches that the midfielder, Iddrisu Baraka, 13 was selected the most valuable player of a match. She was the MVP of the Match between Nasara Ladies Fc and Yoo Ladies Fc . The young midfielder has been in fantastic form for Nasara ladies. She succeeded in putting up 5-star performances in almost all the five matches played so far in the Northern Regional Women’s Division One League.


Iddrisu Baraka, Nasara Ladies

Iddrisu Baraka, a student of Tamale Senior High School is a promising young player who will soon be a star player in women’s football. She has started attracting interest from the other women’s football clubs in Northern, especially the two Women’s Premier League Clubs in the region. The young player will also soon be an asset for the Ghana female national teams, especially the female U-17 team.

Coach Michael’s side, Nasara ladies is currently 5th on the league log of the regional division one league with 7pts and 4 goals. They will take on Fc Young Queens on Thursday, 22nd July, 2021 at Aliu Mahama Stadium Annex 3.
