It has been a flourishing new season for Bagabaga Ladies and Black Maidens forward, Abdulai Salamatu, affectionately called Nte by her colleagues as she scored a brace to send her goals tally to 6 in just three matches.

The young striker opened the Northern Regional Women Division One League with a hat trick against Beyom Ladies of Nyankpala, and then followed it with a goal against Nasara Ladies in their second game.

The fast rising star was at it again on Wednesday against Fc Young Queens with a brace to hand Bagabaga Ladies FC a convincing 2-0 victory.

 

Abdullai Salamatu Nte

 

It was their 3rd victory in a row as they intensified their quest to qualify into the the 2021/2022 Women’s Premier League season.

Salamatu Nte was the top scorer in the 2018 Women’s Unity Cup Competition with 17 goals, her dribbling skills and great pace have made her a threat to every opposition team.

 

Bagabaga Ladies FC

 

Nte’s great form in the 2018 handed her a maiden call up to the Black Maidens squad for the Women’s U-17 World Cup qualifiers double header against Liberia. The goal poacher found the back of the net twice as the female U-17 team ran passed the Liberians in both legs.

Her current form has won her two MVP awards and also leads the Goal Queen chat in the Northern Regional Division One League with 6 goals.
