NRFA :Nanumba North Municipal Football Association Inaugurated in Bimbilla.
Nanumba North Municipal Football Association was inaugurated on Saturday, 7th November, 2020 in Bimbilla. This was to enable the football association to officially start running their day to day football activities including organizing football competitions that fall within their powers.
A team from the Northern Regional Football Association’s Executive Council (ExCo) led by the Chairman, Alhaj Abu Hassan Mahamadu Rhyzo was in the capital city of the Nanumba North, Bimbilla to supervise the inauguration. Other NRFA ExCo members in attendance were the Vice Chairman of Northern Regional Football Association, Mr Ibrahim Kessie and the Northern Regional Football Association’s Women Committee Chairperson, Hajia Zelia.
The Executive Council Members (ExCo) of the Nanumba Municipal Football Association were sworn in by Alhaj Abu Hassan Rhyzo, the NRFA Chairman and member of the Ghana national U-20 management committee.
Speaking in the inauguration, Alhaj Abu Hassan Mahamadu Rhyzo cautioned the executive council members against lackadaisical working attitude in their line of duties. He advised them to be committed to the work in order to develop football in the Nanumba North Municipality
The Chairman of the Nanumba Municipal Football Association, Mr Nasam Mohammed, on behalf of the Executive Council Members and the entire football family in the Municipality thanked the Northern Regional Football Association, especially the Chairman, Alhaj Rhyzo for the wonderful job the association is doing to bring face-lift to football in the region. He also assured the NRFA that he and his outfit will work hard for the common goal of developing football in Northern Region to be achieved.
The Northern Regional Football Association has been doing well in several areas ahead of the start of the new football season. The Statistics and Data committee, the Regional Juvenile Committee and the Medical Committee have actively been working in their respective areas to improve football in the region.
