NRFA Division Two: Zanwara FC stretches their unbeaten records to 12 in the Regional Division Two League

Northern Regional Division Two League has reached the twelve week with new records set. This is not strange to anyone considering the preparations made by the club during the pre-season.



Zanwara fc extended their unbeaten records to 12 matches after beating FC Tamale 2-1 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium annex 1 on Wednesday 11/08/2021. The win over FC Tamale means that Zanwara FC have finished top of the group, recording 8 wins and 4 draws.



They are one of the few team’s to stay unbeaten in their groups since the beginning of the season. The club is owned by the Chairman of the Northern Regional Football Association Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo.



The strength of their team this season could see them gain promotion to the Division One League though clubs such as Dreams Tamale, Tamale Utrecht Football Academy, Yendi Sankara Nationals and Naamu Faith could give them a tough contest as they all await their faith in the next round of the competition.


All the 70 Division Two Clubs in Northern Region will be competing for a single slot and it will be very difficult for anyone to make an early prediction.



Zanwara fc has so far indicated their intentions to qualify for division one league next season with the technical team seriously preparing for the next round of the division two league.



They have score 22 goals in the run, conceded only 9 goals and an accumulated 28 points.
